人權觀察：人道物資遭葉門叛軍侵吞

人權觀察組織(Human Rights Watch)今天(31日)發表聲明，譴責葉門叛軍、由伊朗支持的青年運動(Houthi)，將運送到第三大城塔伊茲(Taez)的人道物資佔為己有；聲明中同時呼籲青年運動，讓人道團體能夠進入塔伊茲。

位在葉門西南部的塔伊茲，已經被青年運動和他們的盟軍圍困了好幾個月，支持總統哈迪(Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi)的軍隊只控制市中心一帶。

聲明中呼籲叛軍，應該立即結束非法的沒收行動，並允許援助單位能夠全面進入塔伊茲。

人權觀察中東暨北非事務副主任史托克(Joe Stork)指責說，沒收人民的財產已屬非法，奪走他們的糧食和醫療補給更是殘酷。

人權觀察指出，由於眾多民眾逃離戰亂，塔伊茲人口已經從大約60萬人大幅減少為20多萬。

根據聯合國的統計，自從去年3月以來，葉門境內的戰鬥已經造成超過5,800人死亡，其中半數是平民。
